Our Story

We are Monica and Melissa, better known as Mon & Mel! 

We are cousins and best friends located in the Lehigh Valley, PA who have always had a passion for the ice cream industry, and 5 years ago we followed that passion! 

 

We first started with our family-owned soft serve ice cream truck. After having to retire our first truck, we converted a small school bus into our unique mobile ice cream truck to kick off our dream of Mon and Mel’s Sweet Scoops!

 

We have 11 flavors of delicious Hand Dipped Hersheys ice cream, milkshakes, sundaes, floats, banana splits, parfaits, smoothies, Italian ice and our very own Homemade cookies for our custom cookie sandwich. We absolutely love what we do and the joy it brings to our community.

 

Our truck goes on weekly neighborhood routes throughout the Lehigh Valley, operating during the months of April to October. You can check out our route and festival schedule here.
